first, i've fought my entire life against labels, blah blah blah.

next, i am.

ok, now that that is out of the way, i am a northern calilfornian (who no longer lives in california) who has always wanted to make the world a better place.  (at five years of age, i attempted to discuss socialism with my parents, who simply refused to discuss such things with a child.)  anyway, i digress a lot (you've been warned).

i believe the only thing that exists is love and that joy is our natural state of being.  along with that, i believe everyone wants to make the world a better place, but those things that are interpreted as “problems” occur because of the size of one's world, for if we include everyone in our world, then we would want to make the world a better place for all, not just those we know and/or like.

i love philosphy, which is one of the reasons i adore paris because i've managed to spend hours in parisian cafés discussing philosophy with various people i meet.

i also believe that falling in love (as in agape) is the easiest thing in the world to do, while falling out of love is the most difficult (but one never falls out of agape, so that point is moot, isn't it?). 

now, as for the way i make a living in this world, i am the ceo of the american division of a start-up called “unikpay”; we have created a new way to help immigrants and are devoting part of our profits (when we get them) to micro loans.
